Anchor Serif

Anchor Serif is a grounded, nautical typeface that I built using the method of extrema. I used Cheltenham Semibold Condensed as a reference. Its simple but solid serifs create a vintage typeface, while the unique shapes of the lowercase f and j modernize it. Since there are subtle shapes and corners, this typeface is best used as headers and subheaders.
